The last two mornings we have shared Pastries with the Pastors with our Weekday Ministries teachers and parents. This is a chance for the parents to get some coffee and treats at drop off and hang out with each other and the pastors. I love to see the conversations and connections that are made. It is also a blessing to honor our Weekday Ministries teachers and staff, who work so hard to provide the over 200 kids a great experience.
This weekend's message is entitled "Living Together on Uncommon Ground." We often use the phrase "finding common ground" and that is an essential exercise. What happens when we find ourselves on uncommon ground? Sometimes, their are things we going to disagree on based on our own experiences, stories, and journey. How do we conduct ourselves when we are on uncommon ground? How does our faith inform our relationships with others? We will explore these questions and more this week during worship. I hope you will be present at either 10:00 AM or 11:15 AM and invite someone to come with you. Maybe even someone who sees the world differently than you do.
If you would like to worship online, you can find the worship service live at 10 AM ET or anytime following at Promise Road Live
It is a blessing to be one of your pastors.
Grace and peace,
